Meet Hakuchōzan, the latest addition to our Niseko offerings. A night’s stay at this chalet will set you back a cool JPY 1,600,000 (approx. USD 14,270) but gain you the kind of holiday that you will never stop talking about. How so? Read on.
#1 It has a 6-star rating
This reason alone actually encompasses all the other reasons, but yes, you’ll come away from your stay at the 7-bedroom Hakuchōzan, being able to say you’ve had the 6-star Niseko experience. There’s a team of fully dedicated staff waiting to take care of your every need (more on that later).

#2 There’s a man cave
Hakuchozan
In case you don’t have one at home, this is a done deal, right? Hakuchōzan is decked out like the winter home of the world’s wealthiest. There’s a man-cave with a bar and entertainment system; a kids game room with a foosball table, Xbox One and boardgames; an 80-inch screen with Apple TV in the living room; a karaoke system; and BOSE sound system throughout the property.
#3 It’s been nominated for awards
That’s what happens when a ski chalet looks this good. At the World Ski Awards, Hakuchōzan was nominated for the 2016 World’s Best New Chalet, and given a nod for the Japan’s Best Chalet category in 2017 and 2018 (another chalet has held the title for four years straight, but Hakuchōzan could soon change that). CNN’s Elite Escapes also named it one of the World’s Best Luxury Ski Lodges.
#4 You can leave everything to the team
“Make yourselves at home,” we’d say, for Hakuchōzan is all-inclusive. It comes with daily meals, including a 4-course dinner or a hotpot and BBQ evenings, as well as unlimited drinks (we’re talking beers, spirits, liquors, and soft drinks). A butler will be at your beck and call, and can even bring you a cup of hot cocoa on the slopes should you wish.

#5 It’s very near the ski lifts
The chalet is an 8-minute walk to the ski lift – no hassle! – and you can get all your ski and snowboard fittings done in the chalet before you leave with your equipment.
#6 You get one of the best views from any Niseko chalet
Money can’t buy a view like this (or maybe it can, in this case). A Jacuzzi, BBQ equipment and campfire pit are outside on the patio, which overlooks Mount Yōtei in all its splendour.
