About Villa Vedas – The Basics
Villa Vedas was designed with weddings in mind and is the go-to villa for couples who desire a lavish affair with all of their family and friends. The villa, which won the honour of being called the Yak Award’s best villa for 2014, is all about dramatic interiors and even more spectacular backgrounds.
Located in Tabanan and directly on the beach, Villa Vedas is an eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom villa for up to 16 people, with three additional powder rooms for event guest usage.
If pressed to describe the villa in one word, it’d quite simply be, “palatial”. From the jaw-dropping design, the 45-metres of absolute beachfront, the private location and the sheer decadence of its meticulously designed marble, stone and teak fittings, this villa is pure “WOW”.

Where to Host the Ceremony
Garden wedding or beachfront? An intimate occasion or a party for the ages? Your wedding, at Villa Vedas, can be whatever you like.
Organise your grand wedding on the grass or maybe erect a deck over of one of the two ground floor pools (ensuring no stilettos get lost), in front of the ocean.
If you’d prefer you and your guests had more access to the beach before and after the ceremony, perhaps say “I do” in part of the garden, directly beside the pool.
It’s your choice, but whatever your preference, Villa Vedas can make it work.

The In-House Wedding Services
Villa Vedas really is all about weddings. The villa offers its own catering services (saving you a lot of time and hassle searching for another one). Their catering service, Villa Vedas Catering or VVC, offers high quality and competitively priced catering and bar service.
There are a variety of food and beverage packages available, such as Balinese Buffet, Western Buffet, BBQ, and more. The packages may be mixed and matched upon request. There are also in-house mixologists who can create signature classic cocktails served from the bespoke tasting room and bar.
Of course, if you do choose outside catering, that is perfectly fine. Villa Vedas has a large commercial kitchen which can be used by outside caterers for an additional fee.

Your First Night As a Married Couple (the master suite)
Start your marriage in the lap of luxury, because you deserve it, and celebrate your first night as newlyweds in the awe-inducing master suite.
The suite faces the ocean and features panoramic 270° views. The built-in cantilevered bed is an engineering marvel that appears to float in the air (leaving you on Cloud Nine).
The ensuite bathroom is remarkable in its own right. With decadent marble, a dual vanity, rain shower and separate tub (both with room for two), you could probably move in if you liked.
The other bedrooms, for your most important guests, are no less extravagant – meaning you won’t be having any in-laws complaining about how hard done by they are.

Remarkable Villa Features
You’re going to have a hard time getting your guests to leave Villa Vedas after the wedding. As well, you might just find that people who would normally be late to everything, show up about four hours early.
After all, who doesn’t love pretending they’re a snooker expert? Or if not a “shark” in sheep’s clothing, they might perhaps take to the art gallery and try on their best hyper-intellectual voice and detail the wonders of Balinese art.
If that doesn’t sound quite right for some of your guests, we’re sure others will make themselves very comfortable in the bespoke bar and tasting room.
Or maybe, they’ll take to one of the two ground floor pools before freshening up for the ceremony. The main pool is 40 metres in length, and the second pool, which is offset at a right angle to the main pool, is 20 metres in length.
As for you, to calm any pre-wedding nerves, have a soak in the 6 x 6-metre glass-bottom sky pool. From this perch, you can feel like the King or Queen of the land on your special day as you stare out across the gardens and to the sea.
Although, yes, we did say glass-bottom sky pool, don’t worry, you don’t need to be seen by anyone if you don’t want to. With the flick of a switch, the glass bottom can turn from clear to opaque.
As for that walk down the aisle, we think there is no entrance more grand for a bride than this floating teak staircase.
