You’ve never seen anything quite like it. The ship / “beach condo” / floating vessel is the new MSC Seaside, a creation of Geneva-based MSC Cruises. Unlike some other vacation goals — summers on mars and drone-carrying underwater homes — the ship will set sail from Florida to the Caribbean in 2017.
MSC Seaside (they should really work on the name) is designed to offer guests as much ocean face time as possible. It features the longest open-air promenade ever built on any ship, sky-high glass catwalks (imagine walking on water) and an outdoor amphitheater fitted with balconies and a pool.
There are 2,000 rooms, 20 bars, and for the heck of it, waterpark slides and a zip line. Want to book your ticket? You might just make it in time!
