Grace Chan is no stranger to luxury travel. The 27-year-old, who recently got married to Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng in Bali – only one of our favourite places in the world! – jets around the world all the time, be it for work or leisure.
But she’s no mere Instagram influencer. Grace, who was born in Hong Kong but raised in Canada, is an actress with several films and television series on her belt. She was also crowned Miss Hong Kong in 2013 and Miss Chinese International in 2014.
During a recent trip to Bali, Grace stayed at Villa Sin Sin, a large but tranquil compound comprising three separate villas nestled by a paddy field in Kerobokan. We caught up with the actress to find out her travel habits.

Where do you travel to most often?
Asia Pacific. Sometimes I cannot get too many days off for vacation so it’s best to stay near Southeast Asia to make the best of the short amount of time I have!
Where are you travelling next?
I am travelling to Italy for work.
What are some things you always pack in your carry-on?
An extra jacket. You never know if the weather changes drastically from day to night so it’s safe to bring an extra jacket in case it does!
Do you prefer travelling alone, with a travel buddy or in a group?
I love travelling with my husband. He’s very easy going and loves to explore different restaurants with me!
What are three things you’ll never leave home without?
Unfortunately, I have to admit that in this day and age, we cannot live without our phones. The second is a charger for my phone as I use it heavily and the battery quickly runs out. The third is my wallet. Practical answers, right?
What did you love about Villa Sin Sin overall?
I love that it’s isolated from town but close enough to travel to by car. It feels like a scenic serenity!
