The Luxe Nomad joins Bike to Care 2022 to work #TogetherForChildren
Indonesia has some of the best vacation spots in the world—and while we could go and on about how amazing Bali is, this month, The Luxe Nomad focuses on giving back to the amazing place that’s fueled our wanderlust through the years. Through Bike to Care 2022, an offline and online campaign organized by SOS Children’s Villages Indonesia Foundation, we’re hoping to help make the future brighter for Indonesia’s youth.

What is Bike To Care 2022?
Bike to Care 2022 is a social movement organized by SOS Children’s Villages Indonesia Foundation. Since 2016, the foundation has organized successful events to raise funds for the benefit of Indonesian children, and this year there will be a hybrid event happening online and offline. Participants are welcome to join an ultra-distance cycling marathon, or show their support through an online fundraiser. Ultimately, the goal is to increase public awareness and concern for children’s rights in Indonesia.
The Luxe Nomad is aiming to raise IDR 50,000,000 (USD 3,400) to help create a brighter future for Indonesian children.
Where will Bike to Care 2022 proceeds go?
All funds raised from the hybrid Bike to Care 2022 event will be used to provide for Indonesian children, especially those who lost their parents because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who is behind Bike To Care 2022?
SOS Children’s Villages Indonesia Foundation has been organizing annual events since 2016, starting with Run to Care. Founded in 1949, they are the world’s largest non-profit organization and have always been active in supporting children’s rights. They provide for children who have lost (or are at risk of losing) parental care, their primary needs, a loving family, and a home.
SOS Children’s Villages focuses on 3 pillars: Parenting, Education and Health. Through these, they strive to provide a better life for all Indonesian children.
How can I join Bike To Care 2022?
The hybrid event set-up encourages all participants to join in whatever way they can. Cyclists can join an offline 500km #BaliLoop ultra-distance cycling event and a 200km or 300km relay on 19-20 March 2022, or a virtual 150km, 250km, or 500km team relay event. Participants can also donate to The Luxe Nomad’s online fundraiser via Give Asia to help us reach our goal.
