The basics

Who it’s for
Families and big groups are welcome here – especially great for those who really want to get away from it all, as the villa is located in the peaceful Laem Set neighbourhood. (Arrange for a private chef so you never even have to leave the villa!) The villa sleeps up to 10 people, including children, but a maximum of two extra beds can be arranged at an additional charge. A baby cot can be provided free of charge; babysitting services are available at a fee.
Location
In normal traffic, it will take you around 45 minutes to get here from Samui airport. The villa is just a short drive from the nearby private beach.

The best bits
Baan Silavaree is in its own peaceful world. Set in the hillside, the whole property is built on multiple levels with winding walkways that remind us of the atmosphere of a well-hidden resort spa. Come nighttime, the villa lights up with a warm glow, which only emphasizes that vibe.
Anglo-Burmese, Tibetan and Balinese furniture decorate the villa’s open-plan space, and ensuite bedrooms come with outdoor showers and teak sunken bathtubs that fit two.
In the backyard, you’ll find a lovely garden with a waterfall, where you can chill out and read a book or enjoy a spa treatment (charged separately).
A balcony just outside the living area has enough space for you to unwind with some yoga or just doze off on the sun chairs. Like we said, Baan Silavaree has the makings of your own little wellness retreat, if you know where to look.
Food & drink
At an extra fee, you can request for an in-villa chef, who can recommend the best dishes and accommodate any dietary requirements. If the weather permits, be sure to enjoy dinner on the balcony, because dinners on balconies are a #mood, and because the sunsets are not to be missed.
What’s nearby
Just a short drive away is the award-winning Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa Resort. For some recreational fun, head to the Na Mueang Waterfall park, which is 15 minutes away. And to mingle with the tourist crowd, take a 20-minute drive to Lamai Beach for its many restaurants, bars and shops.
