What’s on offer: The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong’s kitchen is once again creating its scrumptious egg custard mooncakes. The hotel has collaborated with the Savannah College of Art and Design HK to create two special-edition boxes – one with stars around the moon and the other showcasing a moonlit reunion between lovers.
Price: HK$398 – HK$428 per box of eight mooncakes. Add a six-pack of 15-year vintage ripe Pu-erh tea to the set for HK$728 per box.

What’s on offer: One of Hong Kong’s favourite mooncakes, these bad boys range in flavour from vanilla to red bean and White Lotus Paste with Salted Double Duck Egg Yolks. There are low-sugar alternatives, if you’re into that sort of thing. Each box comes in clean, and jewel-like burgundy or royal blue.
