Thai model, actress, presenter — and mother of two little kiddos — our Celeb Nomad Paula Taylor is ‘mum goals’ all around. And, she was on the second season of Amazing Race Asia 2 so she’s definitely no stranger to the nomad life. Ignite your wanderlust with a sneak peek into her jet-set world. First stop: Trisara Phuket, which in Sanskrit brings the meaning of “The Garden in the Third Heaven” — you might recognise it from one of our staycations.

My vacation wardrobe: Is mostly white.
In-flight entertainment: I love getting the chance to watch a new movie or TV series, or I’ll read a book.
The best thing about travel: The experience.
Favourite vacation: A safari trip. I once went to Zambia and it was incredible.
Bucket list: Iceland.
Vacation workout: I’m not a fan of routine, especially not when I’m on vacation. Just go out and have fun!
A luxury vacation: Thailand, it’s spa-central. You’ll be treated like a goddess.
Trisara Phuket: The staff, the food — amazing! The team was always two steps ahead with knowing what a guest would want or need. I arrived to find a little bed for my daughter, a cot for my son, bottle warmer, steriliser and personalised kid cupcakes. Sadly, my kids weren’t travelling with me but we made sure to enjoy the cupcakes on their behalf!
Phuket tips: Go island hopping, dine at a restaurant called Kra Jok See; it was so much and they’ll have you dancing on tables, but also at Raya for Southern Thai cuisine in a beautiful old house.
My travel playlist: I love “Cake By the Ocean” by DNCE and I also listen to “The Weeknd”.
Couple vacations: Find a destination that has something for both of you — everyone is a happy camper.
Travel advice: Don’t plan too much. Leave your days a little flexible so you can be spontaneous.
