We’ve always been huge fans of these two stunning ladies. The Monday Swimwear founders are multi-hyphenates who are always killing it on the ‘gram with the hottest travel photos, chicest bikini trends, and the best beach content that serve as our fitness inspiration here in The Luxe Nomad HQ.
We hosted Tash Oakley and Devin Brugman in Bali recently and asked them the questions you’ve been dying to know. Yep, I guess some people CAN have it all. Keep reading for the fun stuff.

How was your stay with The Luxe Nomad? What were some of the best things about the villas you stayed in?
Our stay with The Luxe Nomad was phenomenal. We stayed at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort and Villa Melissa, both of which were all so special in their own way. All our villas were full amenity villas with a full-time staff, gorgeous traditional furniture and décor, and oceanfront with some of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen! The Luxe Nomad was the best host we could ask for!
Where They Stayed – Villa Melissa
- Villa Melissa is a 5-bedroom villa right on Pererenan’s volcanic-sand beach.
- 3 of the 5 bedrooms have beautiful ocean views
- A short drive from Seminyak, the villa comes with complimentary use of minivan for 5 guests (excluding petrol)
- There are two pools, one for children and one for adults. The two form a T-shape within the villa’s garden.
- Villa Melissa is part of the Pantai Lima Estate and has access to the estate’s shared facilities. On-site, there is a tennis court with night-lighting, a gym and a 250m² seminar room
How do you stay fit while on holiday? What are some of your guilty pleasures/cheat eats?
It’s definitely not easy to stay on track with our fitness when we travel, but we do our best to find properties that have a gym on the property and like to work out first thing in the morning before breakfast to start our day strong and enjoy the rest of the day. We also love using online workouts or fitness apps like PVolve and Peaches Pilates when we don’t have an accessible gym. We try to eat healthy and clean on travel days, stay hydrated, and sleep for 8 hours! However, we definitely aren’t perfect. We love to indulge in a good cheat meal. In Bali, this meant having some Mie Goreng for dinner or the seafood curry… both were so good and worth it!
What’s your skincare routine?
We exfoliate 2-3x a week, and we love to incorporate as many natural and organic products as possible. Our main skin care tip is to start from within- hydrate, eat right, stay balanced and nutritious!
