Take it from us, Bali is always a good idea. We’re firm believers that you never need an excuse to hop on a plane to the Island of Gods, but here’s a great one: the return of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort’s exclusive annual event The Dinner Series which is to be held in August.

It’s a match made in culinary heaven: take one celebrity chef (James Viles of the two-hatted restaurant Biota in Bowral, Australia), and one beautiful villa (the Ungasan Clifftop Resort’s famed five-bedroom villas) and you get a one-night-only fine dining event to remember. The Dinner Series happens on August 23 and because it’s open to just 30 guests, will be an incredibly special and intimate experience for anyone who loves fine dining.
The evening will be presided over by Biota owner and chef Chef James Viles, known for his innovation and commitment to sustainability both at his own restaurant and as culinary partner of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. The Dinner Series’ one-off menu, designed by Chef James and inspired by Bali’s own rich and varied landscape, is a rare chance to enjoy his unique and modern cooking style. The chef will also be talking guests through his creative process at Biota, sharing insights into how he sources produce ethically and sustainably.
And the best part? The venue. One of The Ungasan’s beautiful five-bedroom villas will be transformed into an intimate dining space just for the evening. Inside, these villas combine the best of Balinese tradition and modern luxury; outside are the incredible clifftop views of the Indian Ocean from which the resort takes its name. Trust us, it’s a view you won’t ever forget. World-class dining with those famous clifftop views – we told you this would be a good reason to book that flight.
Book your seat at The Dinner Series here. Guests of The Dinner Series will also enjoy 20% off stays at The Ungasan’s Five-Bedroom or One-Bedroom Villas.
