The Museum of Modern Art in New York and the National Gallery of Victoria are joining hands to honour 130 years of art. From now through 7 October 2018, the National Gallery of Victoria will be home to over 200 famous and beloved artworks, many of which the art-savvy among you will recognise, flown all the way from New York.
The exhibition will be sectioned chronologically into eight themes, moving from the late 19th century to present time. Among the artists being featured in the exhibition are Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh. Mark your calendars now, call your friends, call your date. MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art is on from 9 June until 7 October 2018. Ticket prices start at AUD 28 for adults and AUD 10 for children.
